John's passion to create a corporation that provides exceedingly high
quality services to people who can greatly benefit from them, has long
driven him to put together a team of like-minded outstanding business
people. Through this paramount philosophy, CapeLight strives to give to its
clients and community far more than expected. CapeLight, and all of its
divisions, are the fruits of that vision.
John's diverse life experiences bring to CapeLight an extensive background
in business, startup and entrepreneurial ventures. In 1995, John was also
one of the first clinical trial patients to ever be successfully cured of a
potentially terminal tumor in his esophagus. This prompted him to author a
book on the subject of clinical trials and experimental treatment of
terminal illness, as well as co-found the website, FindingYourCure.com.
John is a Fellow of the
Price-Babson College Entrepreneurship Education Fellows Program and was a business major at Cape
Cod Community College. Additional current positions include: Executive Vice
President of Charles River Rail Road, Entrepreneurship & Ethics Lecturer at
Cape Cod Community College and licensed Realtor. Formerly he was cofounder,
President and Chief Operating Officer of Cape Cod Central Railroad, and was
Superintendent, Supervisor and/or an Engineer for several regional and
national railroad corporations. John sits on various boards of directors of
health organizations, hospitals and business entities and was named Citizen
of the Year by the Hyannis Area Chamber of Commerce in 2001.
